Clinical Services

We offer a full range of medical services. Our patients generally prefer the flexibility of arranging an appointment at a time that is convenient for them, thus most services are offered in routine appointments.

Antenatal Care

We provide a shared care antenatal service with The Royal Free, Whittington or University College Hospital. Pregnancy can be confirmed by a simple urine test purchased at the chemist. Please see your doctor as soon as you know you are pregnant to discuss booking arrangements. Antenatal care can be arranged during routine surgery hours.

Baby Clinic

We run a baby clinic every Monday between 2.00 – 3.30pm. You may book an appointment in the clinic to see the nurse for your child’s immunisations, the health visitor for advice and the baby clinic doctor for six week and postnatal check-ups. Remember to bring your baby’s red book with you. Please do not bring acutely ill babies to this clinic. Please note you need to book an appointment.

Mental health

We have visiting psychologists from Camden Psychological Therapies. For more complex problems please discuss a referral to the Taverstock for psychotherapy.

To offer a better service we offer diabetes care in a special clinic held twice a month on Wednesday afternoons between 2.00 – 4.00pm. You will be invited to attend for regular reviews.

Long term conditions

We offer appointments in routine surgeries for hypertension, chronic kidney disease, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart failure.

Minor Surgery

Certain minor surgical procedures are performed such as removal of lumps, warts, verrucas and joint injections. After consultation with your doctor, an appointment will be given for the procedure.

NHS health checks

Everyone between the ages of 40 and 74 who has not been diagnosed with heart disease, strokes, kidney disease,  and certain types of dementia will be invited to have a health check every five years to give support and advice and reduce their chances of developing any of the above illnesses.

Over 75

All patients over 75 will have a named GP and will be offered routine health checks.

Well woman

We offer contraceptive advice, antenatal care and advice about menopause in routine surgeries.
