We offer a range of medical services. Our patients generally prefer the flexibility of arranging an appointment at a time that is convenient for them, therefore most services are offered in routine appointments.
We provide a shared antenatal care service with the Royal Free, Whittington, or University College Hospitals. Pregnancy can be confirmed by a simple urine test purchased at the chemist. Please see your doctor as soon as you know you are pregnant to discuss booking arrangements. Antenatal care can be arranged during routine surgery hours.
We run a baby clinic every Monday 2.00 – 3.30 pm with the Health Visitor. Child immunisation is with the nurse and six week and postnatal check-up is with the baby clinic doctor. To book for any of these, please ring the surgery on 0207 435 7282.
Please do not bring acutely ill babies to these clinics.
Remember to bring your baby’s red book to every appointment
We have visiting psychologists. For more complex problems, please discuss a referral with the doctor.
We offer diabetic care in special clinics held once a week. Prior to your diabetic appointment, please ensure you have had your blood tests carried out as the results are essential when seeing the doctor. You will be invited to attend for regular reviews by the practice.
Long term Conditions
We offer appointments in routine surgeries for hypertension, chronic kidney disease, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart failure.
NHS Health Checks
Everyone between the ages of 40 and 74 who has not been diagnosed with heart disease, strokes, kidney disease and certain types of dementia will be invited to have a health check every five years with the Health Care Assistant to give support and advice to reduce their chances of developing any of the above illnesses.
All patients over 75 will have a named GP and will be offered routine health checks.
We offer contraceptive advice, antenatal care and advice about the menopause in routine clinics.
